Today is the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design‘s (ICSID) World Industrial Design Day, although frankly we’re unsure how to celebrate this.
June 29, 2012, is the designated date yet nobody appears to have baked a cake and there’s less bunting in the streets of London than previous weeks.
If someone would care to let us know what we’re meant to be doing - the ICSID has some vague ideas here - and where this occasion ranks on the scale of the other prestigious 365 ‘internationally observed days’ [it’s a leap year remember] including International Caps Lock Day, and International Ballpoint Pen Day (June 10 and 28 respectively) then we want to hear from you.
