Creaform partners with AGT Robotics for automated 3D scanning

As demand for automating 3D processes increases Creaform has partnered with AGT Robotics to produce a ‘plug-and-play’ option for 3D scanning and inspection.

Its ScanMaster dimensional metrology cell enables process control operations in a compact and secure 1m³ area environment for both on-line and off-line inspections.

The system runs a Creaform MetraSCAN 3D optical CMM scanning system, along with C-Track dual-camera sensors, utilising its TRUaccuracy technology to give a stated accuracy of up to 0.085 mm in real-life, shop-floor conditions (regardless of instability, vibrations, thermal variations).
The ScanMaster can adapt to different design, volume and specific inspection requirements, thanks to an automated turntable, and is compatible with all major metrology software.
