Two wheels, three tubes, three joints and a low maintenance drive belt. The simplicity of the design of the Strida, especially its folding mechanism, has made it a favourite among riders in cities around the world.

Even at 30 years old the design is still as clean and fresh as ever, boosted by a new black and orange livery in a commemorative S30 edition.

Click here to read our interview with its inventor Mark Sanders following his first appearance at DEVELOP3D LIVE in 2012, which is a great look at the development and evolution of folding bicycles - including the Mando Footloose electric powered cycle that Sanders has also designed.

The 30 year anniversary has been commemorated by this special S30 edition
