Insta360’s new Pro camera is capable of capturing 60-megapixel 360-degree 8k 3D stills, giving professionals real life detail for VR and visualisation projects.
Leveraging six independent, high-definition lenses, the camera supports both HDR and RAW formats to bring out levels of detail and low-light performance - exceptional ability from such a small form factor.
Insta360’s real-time image stitching technology also allows 360-degree video to be recorded in up to 4K and offers both H.264 and H.265 video compression, which substantially improves video quality at the same bit rate.
“Insta360’s most advanced technology comes together in the Insta360 Pro, the most powerful, all-in-one VR and 3D content capturing platform that empowers you to create the unforgettable,” said Insta360 CEO and founder Liu Jingkang.
“Never before has such power been put into an easy-to-use, compact system that enables users to share their VR content live with international audiences.”
Expected to retail for around $3,000, the camera should offer incredibly life-like results for those looking to create visualisations on an impressive level.
