The Zmorph i500 3D printer has been launched, with the Polish firm targeting professional users and high throughput.

Zmorph i500 has been designed for cost-effective low-volume production, custom tooling, and prototyping, with a 500 x 460 x 300 mm build area.

A dual drive dual extruder can reach temperatures of up to 300°C for two material combinations such as ABS and HIPS or PLA and PVA, or simply consistent results with a sole material.

The unibody design, made from 1.5 mm and 2 mm aluminium, should provide a solid vibration resistant base for its build chamber that can reach 130°C.

Air is filtered on the way in and out, helping the Zmorph 1500 maintain a stable temperature and to protect the operator against any fumes that might be generated.

A 7 inch touchscreen controls the machine, while Zmorph’s own UI keeps the operating process seamless.

For security purposes, the 3D printer’s Wi-Fi module can be physically removed minimising the ability to compromise the machine being hacked.
