This year’s keynote is Daniel Simon, one of the most in demand concept designers in the world today, who has designed for clients including Bugatti, Lotus and Volkswagen, as well as concept vehicles for Hollywood blockbusters such as Tron: Legacy, Captain America, Prometheus and Oblivion.

Simon started drawing at the age of three, and has not stopped since. After obtaining his degree in automotive design at the University of Applied Science in Pforzheim, Germany, before five years of at Volkswagen’s advanced design studio.

In 2005, Simon worked as a senior designer for Bugatti Automobiles. In 2007, his first book, Cosmic Motors, was published, opening the doors to Hollywood: he became vehicle concept designer on the feature film Tron: Legacy.

Simon now works in Los Angeles, California, on a variety of concept-design projects for Hollywood productions and clients including:
