The new building adds a range of 3- and 5-axis machines to ARRK’s portfolio

Opening just across the street from its current prototyping facility, ARRK has announced its new dedicated building for rapid machining in Gloucester.

The 12,000sq ft space will significantly increase the number of CNC machines ARRK is able to operate, boosting numbers to 10 in total, with a mixture of 3- and 5-axis machines.

The expansion follows the announcement last month of it opening of a new rapid prototyping facility in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
“To have this large CNC facility in the UK, offering customers a truly rapid turnaround, is an important addition to our capabilities and confirms ARRK’s intention to provide an even better service for our customers,” said European RP operations director Craig Vickers.

“Even with the ancillary equipment and operations needed to support such a department, there is still room for further growth and development”.
