The new contract will mean Boeing has been using MSC software for 40 years

Boeing’s use of simulation tools from MSC has been extended and upgraded as the aerospace giant looks to incorporate new acoustics, composites and improved loads cycles and materials management software.

A 5-year agreement to extend the use of MSC Software structural analysis software including MSC Nastran and the Masterkey Plus token system takes the relationship to a 40-year stretch, probably more enjoyable than a ruby wedding anniversary or prison sentence.

The press blurb drops hints of “the continued development of cutting-edge CAE technologies” which gets us more excited about the possibilities offered by ‘Predator Project’, MSC’s latest CAE software project due to launch on 30 September.
