Israel-based LEO Lane is aiming to protect brand integrity and IP protection through its new SaaS for securely managing additive manufacturing workflows - picking up on the industry fears associated with on-demand production.

Once a brand has identified which part it wants to additively manufacture and has established the correct way to produce it - printer type, material, machine settings - the SaaS solution secures it as a Limited Edition Object (LEO) file.

This means of saving the digital asset looks to protect and preserve a product or part design by controlling how it is produced.
