New Lenovo ThinkPad W550s claimed to have best battery life of any mobile workstation

It has the best battery life of any mobile workstation, says Lenovo of its new ThinkPad W550s, which it launched at Autodesk University today.

The slimline laptop, which is said to combine workstation performance with Ultrabook mobility, features ‘Power Bridge technology’ and ‘energy-efficient GPUs’ to provide up to 13 hours of battery life.

The machine comes with a choice of HD and 3K touch and non-touch 15.6-inch displays. It features a 5th generation Intel Core i7 dual core processor, an Nvidia Quadro K620M (2GB) GPU and up to 16GB RAM - quite moderate specifications as far as mobile workstations go.
