New small format, full colour, 7-material 3D printer launched by Stratasys

At about half the price of other J8-series 3D printers and much of the same technology as its PolyJet printing siblings, the Stratasys J826 combines multi-material 3D printing with Pantone-validated colour in a design-office friendly package.

Leveraging the same technology and materials as its large-format counterpart, the J850, Stratasys says that the J826 meets the needs of both designers and design engineers, while allowing the user 7 material options in a single print.

It includes the full range of textures, transparency with VeroUltraClear, and Pantone-validated colour matching for reliable, realistic decision-making across every stage of the design process.
