nViz adds Perceived Quality Review as plug-in for Autodesk VRED

The high-end visualisation of panel gaps is well established in automotive industry, having now scaled up to power walls, virtual reality software and even headsets.

To validate gap and flush tolerances, engineers use gap sections data from CAD and 3DCS to render combinations of min/max gap and flush tolerance values, and while Autodesk VRED has previously not offered this tool, nViz has produced the missing piece – the Perceived Quality plug-in.

Offering 3DCS-Data import from Excel files, interactive gap morphing in VRED, gap, flush and part transformation, there are even a set of templates for standard states (min/max gap, flush, wedge-A/Z etc.).
Those interested can find out more from nViz as part of the Autodesk Automotive Launch Tour 2018, taking place this May in Munich and Wolfsburg.
