Formlabs celebrates its ceramics at CES

Formlabs has announced its latest resin for 3D printing ceramic parts, allowing the creation of structures and complex geometries not possible with traditional ceramic fabrication techniques.

The resin is the first of the company’s new Form X range, an offshoot of MIT’s experimental product platform, and was announced at CES in Las Vegas.

“In announcing Form X, we want to get innovative materials and research tools into the hands of those who wish to explore, improvise, and push the boundaries of what’s possible with 3D printing and on the Form 2,” said Formlabs chief product officer Dávid Lakatos.
